Ocon biedt Schumacher excuses aan na incident

Esteban Ocon kreeg in Bahrein de twijfelachtige eer van de eerste tijdstraf van het seizoen. De Franse Alpine-coureur tikte in de openingsfase van de race de Haas van Mick Schumacher aan waarna de Duitser spinde. De wedstrijdleider bekeek het moment en stuurde het door naar de stewards. Daar werd besloten dat Ocon de schuldige was.

Na afloop van de Grand Prix van Bahrein voelde Ocon zich best wel schuldig. Op nieuwe beelden is te zien dat de Fransman zich in het parc fermé naar Schumacher spoedt. Ocon biedt zijn excuses aan voor de lichte crash en Schumacher accepteert de excuses.
