Verstappen opent morgen sterk bezette eerste persconferentie

Morgen barst het racegeweld weer los op het legendarische circuit van Imola. De Grand Prix van Emilia-Romagna kent een bijzondere structuur want men werkt voor het eerst in 2022 een sprintkwalificatie af. Dat betekent dat men morgen eerst een training rijdt en daarna de kwalificatie. Op zaterdag volgt dan de sprintkwalificatie.

Maar voordat de coureurs morgen plaatsnemen in hun bolides moeten ze verschijnen voor de internationale pers. Voorheen vonden de persconferenties plaats op donderdag maar sinds dit jaar gebeurt dit vrijdagochtend. In groepjes van vijf schuiven de coureurs morgen aan en men heeft weer enkele interessante combinaties bedacht voor de persconferenties.

Regerend wereldkampioen Max Verstappen bijt morgen het spits af, gezamenlijk met huidig WK-leider Charles Leclerc. De twee zullen ongetwijfeld zeer veel vragen gaan krijgen. Daarnaast krijgen ze gezelschap van tweede Ferrari-coureur Carlos Sainz, Valtteri Bottas en George Russell. Na een half uurtje worden ze afgelost door Guanyu Zhou, Pierre Gasly, Sebastian Vettel, Kevin Magnussen en Alexander Albon.
