Bottas haalt 50.000 euro op voor goede doel met bijzondere foto

Valtteri Bottas ging de afgelopen weken flink viral met een bijzondere foto op Instagram. De Finse Alfa Romeo-coureur besloot na de Grand Prix van Miami nog eventjes Amerika in te trekken en nam daar een duik in een beekje, in zijn adamskostuum. Zijn vriendin besloot het tafereel vast te leggen en daarna ging het internet los.

Uiteindelijk besloot Bottas de foto te laten bewerken door een professionele fotograaf. Daarna liet hij een gelimiteerd aantal foto's afdrukken en deze te verkopen voor het goede doel. Al snel waren de afdrukken uitverkocht en haalde Bottas 50.000 euro op voor het goede doel. De Finse coureur zelf had de grote interesse niet zien aankomen.

      Eigenlijk heeft Bottas mijn sympathie. Maar Finnen hebben hoe dan ook bij mij een streepje voor. Komt door een aantal grote projecten waar ik Finnen voor me had werken. Geweldige mentaliteit.

      Ik zou het geweldig vind als Bottas Monaco wint.
