Bottas eindigt op het podium bij Amerikaanse wielrenwedstrijd

Het Formule 1-circus bevindt zich momenteel middenin de zomerstop. Veel coureurs zijn dan ook op vakantie en genieten van hun vrije tijd. Maar toch blijven de meeste coureurs in de zomerstop wel in training. Ook Alfa Romeo-coureur Valtteri Bottas blijft niet stil zitten, de Fin blijft actief bezig zijn.

Bottas brengt zijn dagen door in het Amerikaanse Steamboat Springs. De Finse coureur besteedt hier veel tijd op de fiets met zijn vriendin Tiffany Cromwell, een professioneel wielrenster. In de Verenigde Staten nam Bottas afgelopen weekend ook deel aan een fietswedstrijd. Bottas deelt trots dat hij als vierde over de streep kwam en dat hij zelfs als winnaar uit de bus kwam in zijn leeftijdsklasse.

Geeft wel aan hoe fit die F1 coureurs zijn. Petje af voor Bottas. Daarnaast ook fijn voor hem om weer eens te winnen. Wie had ooit verwacht dat hij eerder op de hoogste trede zou staan dan Russel of Hamilton ;-).
