Perez volgende coureur met motorstraf

Het lijstje van coureurs met een motorstraf in Monza blijft maar groeien. Naast bijvoorbeeld Max Verstappen en Lewis Hamilton ontvangt nu ook Sergio Perez een gridstraf. De Mexicaan wisselt eveneens motoronderdelen en moet naar achteren op de startgrid van de race van aankomende zondag.

Perez wisselt dus net als Verstappen motoronderdelen. Verstappen vervangt echter alleen zijn ICE waardoor hij 'slechts' vijf plaatsen naar achteren hoeft op de grid. Zijn Mexicaanse Red Bull-teamgenoot ontvangt dus ook een gridstraf en mag zich gaan voorbereiden op een fikse inhaalrace op het hogesnelheidscircuit in Italië.
