Aston Martin stelt de la Rosa aan als ambassadeur

Het team van Aston Martin is bezig met een lastig seizoen. De Britse renstal zit vaak vast in het middenveld en kan de gewenste stap naar de top nog niet zetten. Naast de baan gaat het wel naar behoren voor het team, ze zijn bezig met de bouw van een nieuw onderkomen en daarnaast hengelen ze ook een aantal grote namen binnen.

Vandaag maakte Aston Martin namelijk bekend dat ze een nieuwe ambassadeur van het team hebben aangesteld. Voormalig Formule 1-coureur Pedro de la Rosa is namelijk aangetrokken als ambassadeur, de Spanjaard reed tussen 1999 en 2012 104 Grands Prix en maakte tevens veel meters als testcoureur. Aankomend seizoen treft de la Rosa zijn oude vriend Fernando Alonso weer bij het team. De Spanjaard maakt dan de overstap van Alpine naar Aston Martin.
