Red Bull Racing staat in het constructeurskampioenschap 165 punten voor op Ferrari en kan in Austin de titel opeisen. Voor Verstappen is dat het doel aankomende zondag: “Daar gaat we voor, om die hier te winnen. Wat we dit jaar bereikt hebben, is ongelooflijk.”

Met nog vier races te gaan, is Verstappen nog steeds hongerig om te presenteren. "Ik wil nog steeds elke race winnen en ben hier om daar mijn uiterste best voor te doen. De druk is ervan af, maar zodra ik in de auto zit, ga ik voor het maximale."

      Op de vooravond van de Amerikaanse Grand Prix blikt Max Verstappen als kersvers tweevoudig kampioen terug op zijn behaalde titel en kijkt vooruit op het slot van het seizoen.

      Op de vraag of de Red Bull-coureur uitbundig zijn kampioenschap had gevierd, zei hij het volgende. "Ik had nog de nodige verplichtingen, waaronder simulatorwerk op de fabriek in Milton Keynes", vertelt Verstappen op zijn eigen website. “Maar ik heb een avond met vrienden doorgebracht om het te vieren."

      In 2021 won Verstappen zijn eerste wereldkampioenschap door in de laatste ronde van de laatste rivaal Lewis Hamilton te verslaan en een bom van emoties kwam eruit. Hoe anders anno nu. "Natuurlijk voelt het in vergelijking met vorig jaar anders, omdat ik eerder in het seizoen kampioen ben geworden. Dat zagen we min of meer aankomen. Maar de twee kampioenschappen vallen niet te vergelijken met elkaar."

      Hij vervolgt: "Dat is net zoiets als je eerste Grand Prix zege en de overwinningen daarna. De eerste maakt volgens mij altijd wat meer emoties los. Maar als ik puur naar de prestaties kijk, denk ik dat de titel van dit jaar beter is.”

      Als je de tekst selecteert om te kopiëren is het sowieso meteen leesbaar, hoef je het niet voor te kopiëren en te plakken.....
      Maar onhandig is het wel, was laatst ook al een keer met een artikel.....

      Snork, ik heb begrepen dat ze daar hele luxe frikandellen speciaal met kaviaar hebben gekregen, schijnt een nieuw dingetje te zijn vandaar dat kosten zo zijn opgelopen.

      stel je betaalt de catering 50 euries per uur.. (natuurlijk serveersters krijgen anders betaald dan een chef-kok.., maar just for argument sake).
      beetje couvert excl wijn.., 300 euro pp? wijn arrangementje ... ook 300 euro.
      team grootte (ter plaatse) 200 man (?)...
      dus 200x (300 + 300) = 120.000. plus kosten personeel.., met 20 man moet je zo'n groepje wel kunnen bedienen, maw 20x50x10 = 10.000 euro (dinnertje van 10 uur, incl voorbereidingen..). dus als je ruim rekent, kom je op ca 130.000 euro per bacchanaal.. en dat 10x per seizoen... kom je al snel op 1.3 miljoen.. Maw redelijk geloofwaardig allemaal... (denk er het je eigen maar van...)

      Mario, maar als al die boodschappen van de jumbo gehaald zijn moeten er minstens een paar karretjes vanaf getrokken worden omdat de 4e in de rij altijd alles gratis krijgt. Zo wordt het wel enorm complex natuurlijk..

    Ongelofelijk?!? 😳 Je team heeft gecheat. Wat ongelofelijk? Mag blij wezen dat die z'n 2021 kampioenschap mag behouden. Hoe zit dat met die vloeren van de Redbull bolides? Hoor je ook niets meer over. Zal wel een dealtje hebben afgesloten met de huidige FIA. Ongelooflijk pffff🙄. Cheaters zijn het.
