Verstappen ontvangt pole-award op zeer opvallende wijze

Max Verstappen veroverde afgelopen weekend in Mexico niet alleen de zege maar hij pakte ook de pole position. De Nederlander pakte de pole na een zeer spannende kwalificatie en hij ontving daarvoor een zeer opvallende prijs. De uitreiking van deze prijs gebeurde echter buiten beeld plaats.

De polesitter ontving in Mexico namelijk replica's van de helmen van de gebroeders Rodriguez, de naamgevers van het circuit in Mexico-Stad. Eén van de twee helmen was echter voorzien van een Ferrari-logo, aangezien Verstappen actief is voor Ferrari-concurrent Red Bull Racing werd deze gele helm omgedraaid om het logo uit beeld te houden.

      Verstappen vist nog net de helm zo te draaien dat het logo in beeld kwam. Problem solved.

    Wat een onzin zeg. Hij is een trouwe klant van Ferrari die bij de eerste mensen hoort die een beperkte oplage mag bestellen. Halen ze daar ook het logo vanaf? Beetje kinderachtig dit. Straks gaan ze die champagne flessen ook nog afplakken die onder dezelfde naam valt. De marketing slaat een beetje door tegenwoordig.

    Ik denk dat het meer een veronderstelling is van de twitteraar is dat de helm was omgedraaid. Ik denk dat zowel RB als Max totaal geen moeite hebben met het Ferrari logo of ik moet gemist hebben dat Ferrari inmiddels ook blikjes energiedrank produceert. Ik denk dat ze door een helm om te draaien van alle kanten een goede foto van tenminste een van de helmen kan worden gemaakt, maar dat is mijn veronderstelling.

      De poster heeft de naam Vetteleclerc. Duidelijk een Ferrari fan dus die het plaatst.
