Video: Peréz zit op eerste rang van Leclerc’s Q3-moeilijkheden

Dit weekend ingaand zijn coureurs Charles Leclerc en Sergio Peréz nek-aan-nek in het gevecht om de tweede plaats van het rijderskampioenschap. Tussen beide coureurs zit maar vijf punten en als kers op de taart kenden allebei een slechte kwalificatie: Leclerc werd slachtoffer van de bandenkeuze van Ferrari en Peréz zat tijdens de outlap voor enige tijd achter zijn concurrent vast, met goed zicht op Leclerc’s moeilijkheden bij circuit Interlagos.

Startplekken negen en tien zijn het voor Sergio Peréz en Charles Leclerc. Beide coureurs zullen hun uiterste best moeten doen om in de sprintrace in Brazilië het voordeel ten opzichte van de ander te verkrijgen. Zowel Peréz als Leclerc konden geen goed begin van het weekend maken; een ongelukkige combinatie van de rode vlag die veroorzaakt werd door George Russell’s avonturen buiten de baan en het begin van de regenval zorgden ervoor dat Peréz geen goede tijd kon neerzetten en Leclerc uiteindelijk helemaal geen tijd noteerde. Met startplekken in de staart van de top tien en coureurs Lewis Hamilton en Fernando Alonso voor zich belooft het een spannende sprintrace te worden.

Ik niet. De VTs zijn veel interessanter zonder sprintrace.

En denk zo dat Larry voldoende heeft uitgelegd waarom een sprintrace niets toevoegt.

Alleen zeg ik daar maar niets meer over omdat het toch kansloos is. Sprintraces blijven voorlopig. Dan maar een modus er in vinden. Ik heb net even ge... [Lees verder]

  Duisland zat te raaskallen over Schumacher. Nicht alles ist vorbei.
  Vervolgens NL opgezocht. oninteressant.
  F1 punt com zelf zat drama queen Buxton.
  En naar Sky Engeland luister ik al heel lang niet meer. Ben toen wat anders gaan doen.

  Mogelijk mis ik de sprintrace. Moet zo weg en weet niet of ik een mogelijkheid heb te kijken. Voel het niet als een gemis.

Wat dat betreft heeft Leclerc Perez wel mooi gepiepeld...

Perez had ook wel moeten anticiperen op het feit dat Leclerc op de inters rond aan het rijden was.
