Verstappen finisht met afstand op beste gemiddelde positie in 2022

Max Verstappen kende dit jaar een absurd succesvol seizoen. De Nederlander prolongeerde zijn wereldtitel op een zeer overtuigende wijze en won dit seizoen in totaal vijftien Grands Prix. De sterke resultaten van Verstappen zijn ook te zien in zijn gemiddelde finishpositie in 2022.

Na afloop van het seizoen deelt de Formule 1 allerlei statistieken over 2022. Verstappen finishte dit seizoen gemiddeld op de tweede positie, geen enkele andere coureur kwam in de buurt van die prestatie. Verstappens teamgenoot Sergio Perez kwam nog het meest in de buurt van de Nederlander, Perez finishte dit jaar gemiddeld op de 3,21ste positie. Charles Leclerc finishte gemiddeld op de 3,22ste positie. Nicholas Latifi sluit de lijst af en kwam gemiddeld als 15,59ste over de finishlijn.
