Stopt Verstappen in 2028? "Voor hetzelfde geld beleef ik er nog plezier aan"

Max Verstappen verkeerd momenteel in de vorm van zijn leven in de Formule 1. De Nederlandse Red Bull Racing-coureur werd dit jaar met overmacht wereldkampioen in de koningsklasse van de autosport. Verstappen heeft nog een contract tot en met 2028 en hij benadrukt nog maar eens dat hij dan ook afscheid van de sport kan gaan nemen.

Verstappen verlengde eerder dit jaar zijn contract wat ervoor zorgde dat hij tot en met 2028 actief zal zijn voor Red Bull Racing. De Nederlander kan in de komende jaren zomaar eens nog meer successen gaan boeken bij de Oostenrijkse renstal. Hij liet al eerder doorschemeren dat 2028 ook zomaar zijn laatste seizoen in de Formule 1 kan zijn. De wereldkampioen ergert zich aan de alsmaar groeiende kalender en hij steekt ook niet onder stoelen of banken dat hij ook in andere klassen wil gaan rijden.

Verstappen doet niet geheimzinnig over een mogelijk afscheid van de koningsklasse in 2028. De Nederlandse wereldkampioen is daar heel erg eerlijk over in gesprek met de krant De Limburger: "Dat is echt zo. Als ik er dan klaar mee ben, dan stop ik. Zo simpel is het eigenlijk. Voor hetzelfde geld beleef ik er dan nog wel heel erg veel plezier aan en ga ik nog één of twee jaar door. Dan bedoel ik als Formule 1-coureur, hé. Ik zal echt wel blijven racen maar ik ga dan andere dingen doen."

    Wil je niet stoppen....oke......maar elke week dezelfde post wordt zelfs mij te veel.......ga lekker vakantie vieren of woon Kelly ff flink uit, maar ga wat doen jongen.
