Verstappen dankt fans in open brief na succesvol seizoen

Max Verstappen was afgelopen seizoen zeer sterk in de Formule 1. De Red Bull Racing-coureur won vijftien Grands Prix en prolongeerde op vrij simpele wijze zijn wereldtitel. Verstappen is zijn trouwe fans echter niet vergeten en bedankte met oudjaar zijn trouwe volgers in een open brief.

Verstappen was dit seizoen met overmacht de beste coureur van de Formule 1. De Nederlandse coureur verbrak meerdere records waaronder het record van de meeste zeges in één seizoen en de meeste WK-punten in één seizoen. Verstappen werd dit seizoen veel gesteund door zijn 'Orange Army' en op meerdere Europese circuits kleurden de tribunes dan ook oranje.

Teamspirit

Aan het einde van het jaar bedankte Verstappen zijn fans in een open brief die werd gedeeld door zijn werkgever Red Bull Racing. Hij toonde zich daar dankbaar: "Het was een geweldig jaar. Ik wil jullie, de trouwe fans, bedanken voor jullie steun tijdens het seizoen. We hebben een ongelofelijke teamspirit . Jullie steun zien en horen op de tribunes geeft mij nog meer motivatie om door te gaan."

Ongelooflijk

Verstappen is trots op zijn records en hij wil in de toekomst dan ook doorgaan met presteren. De Nederlander is daar goudeerlijk over: "Zoveel races winnen is ongelooflijk en ik ben iedereen zeer dankbaar voor hun steun. Zelfs in de moeilijke momenten aan het begin van het seizoen bleven we werken aan hetzelfde doel. Op die manier zijn we uiteindelijk wereldkampioen en constructeurskampioen geworden."

Een echte open brief komt meestal van de persoon die hem heeft geschreven en niet van de marketing afdeling die aan iemand heeft gevraagd om eventjes een opstel te schrijven waarbij er 10 man (of vrouw) op zijn vingers zit te kijken of die wel de RB regels volgt.

  Is er een link? Iemand die in het openbaar vaak aan het woord is daarvan is vrij eenvoudig te zien of de brief door die persoon is geschreven.
  Ik heb alleen wat frases hierboven gelezen en die zijn ook nog eens vertaald naar het Nederlands.
  
  Uiteraard is het normaal dat marketing naar zo'n brief kijkt en vraagt eventueel dingen er uit te halen.
  
  Ik denk zelf dat Verstappen mans genoeg is om zelf een opzet te maken.

  Misschien weet Max dat deze brief uit zijn naam geschreven is door de marketingafdeling van Red Bull, misschien zelfs dat niet eens. Ik heb bijzonder veel respect voor het racetalent Max, maar fans of de media interesseren Max volgens mij werkelijk geen bal. Maakt niet uit, zolang ie titel nr3 maar naar zich toe trekt dit jaar.
