Bottas bezoekt Nieuw-Zeeland, heeft bergbeklim-onderonsje met Brendon Hartley

Valtteri Bottas blijft goed gebruik maken van zijn vrije tijd. Sinds het samenkomen met zijn vriendin Tiffany Cromwell, professioneel wielrenster, is Bottas geregeld op een tweewieler te vinden. Nu alle F1-teams druk in voorbereiding zijn op het aankomende F1-seizoen, blijft Bottas actief bezig om nieuwe werelddelen te verkennen. Een nieuwe bestemming is bereikt: Nieuw-Zeeland.

Sinds de overstap van Mercedes naar Alfa Romeo ongeveer een jaar geleden is Valtteri Bottas aan het genieten van zijn leven. De Bottas die de fans tijdens zijn periode bij Mercedes te zien kregen toont een scherp contrast in vergelijking met de Bottas van nu. De Fin oogt relaxter en gelukkiger, al rijdt hij ditmaal niet rond in een kanshebber om voor de overwinningen te vechten, maar vecht hij om de laatste te verdelen punten in een Grand Prix-weekend.

Sinds zijn relatie met de Australische Tiffany Cromwell, een professioneel wielrenster, heeft Bottas ook de weg richting de tweewieler gevonden, het gaat hierbij uiteraard om een racefiets. Ook in de winterstop blijft Bottas druk bezig om nieuwe gebieden (onder andere per fiets) te verkennen; ditmaal is het de beurt aan Nieuw-Zeeland. Bottas deelt via zijn Instagram fraaie kiekjes van het prachtige, wilde landschap van Nieuw-Zeeland. Ook staat Bottas op de foto met onder andere Brendon Hartley, waar hij eerder deze week nog mee is gaan hiken.
