Ricciardo bezoekt hoofdkantoor Ford en bestuurt bijzondere bolide

Het team van Red Bull Racing kwam vorige week tijdens de launch van de nieuwe wagen met groot nieuws. Tijdens het event in New York werd de langverwachte samenwerking met Ford aangekondigd. De twee partijen gaan vanaf 2026 samenwerken en om de deal kracht bij te zetten was derde coureur Daniel Ricciardo deze week al aanwezig op het Ford-hoofdkantoor.

Alhoewel de samenwerking pas over drie jaar echt gaat beginnen, was Ricciardo deze week al te gast op het hoofdkantoor van Ford in Michigan. De Australische derde coureur van Red Bull Racing sprak daar met de werknemers, poseerde met wat wagens en kroop samen met Ford CEO Jim Farley achter het stuur van wat Fords. Op sociale media is te zien dat hij in een Ford V8 Supercar rijdt, deze wagen is gemaakt voor de gelijknamige Australische klasse.

Blif het toch bijzonder vinden om nu al zo innig met Ford om te gaan (zelfs logo op de overall van Riciardo) terwijl je de komende 3 seizoenen nog met Honda Powerrrrr je races wil winnen.
