Viaplay kondigt nieuwe documentairereeks over Verstappen aan

Het is algemeen bekend dat Max Verstappen en de streamingsdienst Viaplay een samenwerkingsverband hebben. Dat betekent dat er op Viaplay ook speciale content over Verstappen verschijnt. Begin volgende maand wordt er namelijk een nieuwe driedelig documentairereeks geplaats op Viaplay.

Vanaf 2 april kunnen de klanten van Viaplay kijken naar de driedelige documentaire die luistert naar de naam 'Max Verstappen: Anatomy of a Champion'. Verstappen is voor de serie in de afgelopen periode op de voet gevolgd door regisseur Nick Hoedeman en het resultaat daarvan is dus te zien in de reeks op Viaplay. Het is niet voor het eerst dat Verstappen verschijnt in zo'n soort documentaire.

    Ik weet niet of ik de enige ben maar ik heb steeds meer het idee dat Max een product wordt ipv een sporter. In zijn tijd bij STR en de eerste jaren bij RedBull wilde ik alles zien en lezen. Nu lijkt het steeds wel een herhaling van zetten omtrent wat er wordt uitgezonden. Krijg je straks weer het verhaal dat hij in Italie uit het busje is gezet en dat zijn vader in de regen midden op de kartbaan ging staan om aanwijzingen te geven. En wat is er nu nieuw gebeurd? Hij heeft een vriendinnetje en een gestoorde schoonvader.

      Hoe groter de naam van Max wordt in de wereld hoe meer je van dit soort onzin tegen komt want iedereen wil nu eenmaal een graantje meepikken van het succes.

      Ik beperk me maar tot de informatie rond de race weekenden. Kijk een week voor de start van het nieuwe seizoen nog even drive to survive om de week tussen testen en de GP door te komen en laat voor de rest al dit soort vage docu's lekker links liggen.

    Ik heb zowel Viaplay als F1TV en moet eerlijk bekennen dat Viaplay het wat betreft de coverage helemaal niet zo slecht doet. Beter dan Ziggo in ieder geval. Ja ik kijk ook nog Ziggo en echt hoor Olav en Jack en Robert, Max ging toch echt op softs de tweede stint. Het enige is dat ik het commentaar op Viaplay niet trek. Die Valkenburg gaat dan nog wel maar die Melroy Heemskerk. Sorry. Ze, Viaplay, pakken wel uit met goede docu's rondom Max. Zeker de moeite waard. Dus ik ben benieuwd.

    Als ik ff een Premier League potje wil kijken moet ik me door 40 Max Verstappen docu's manoeuvreren. Wie kijkt daar nou naar vraag je je dan af. Dan moet je echt opgenomen worden voor een Verstappen obsessie.

      Vreemd, want als je op "Sport" klikt, kun je vervolgens meteen
      op "Premier League" klikken en hoef/krijg je niets van de F1 te zien.
      Gewoon zeuren om te zeuren dus. :-((

      Weet ik, beetje overdreven natuurlijk Piet, maar vind je het niet wat veel dan? Voor die jongen is het prima natuurlijk maar als je zoveel content maakt over een sporter zit er flink wat overlap in, met gevoel voor understatement.
