Bottas veilt speciale Melbourne-helm voor Save the Children

Valtteri Bottas verschijnt aankomend weekend in Australië aan de start met een opvallend eenmalig helmdesign. De Finse Alfa Romeo-coureur kiest weer voor een blauw helmdesign, maar ditmaal in een soort Australisch jasje. Bottas zal de helm slechts één race dragen, daarna gaat het hoofddeksel namelijk onder de hamer.

De helm van Bottas is dit weekend voorzien van allerlei blauwe patronen. Na afloop van de Australische Grand Prix van aankomende zondag zal Bottas de door Ricky Kildea ontworpen helm signeren en gaat deze in de verkoop. Op de site van de F1 Authentics veilingen kan men nu al bieden op de helm. Er wordt minimaal 10.000 pond verwacht voor de helm, de opbrengst wordt gedoneerd aan Save the Children.
