Sergio Perez start achteraan voor de Grand Prix van Australië. De Red Bull-coureur schoot bij bocht vier rechtdoor en kwam vast te zitten in de grindbak. Dat zorgde meteen voor een rode vlag. 

Op de boordradio klaagde de Mexicaan over de problemen met de wagen die nog niet waren opgelost. De winnaar van de vorige wedstrijd in Saoedi-Arabië had bij VT3 al wat issues en vergaloppeerde in dezelfde bocht al een paar keer.

      F1fan76, met het verwijderen van de chicane en 4 drs zones hebben ze het wel al een stuk makkelijker gemaakt.

      @f1fan1993, checo wist van de problemen in vt3, hij had moeten beginnen met een bankerlap neer te zetten. Hij eas echt welnin q2 of q1 terechtgekomen

    Als je weet dat je problemen hebt en je vliegt er af in q3, terwijl je met die auto op 2 banden je nog had kunnen kwalificeren dan ben je geen WK materiaal.

    Mocht het aan de auto liggen dan heb je dat probleem toch al aangevoeld in de eerdere bochten die je hebt genomen of ben ik nou gek? En mocht dat niet het geval zijn en je hebt dit probleem in de vrije training gehad op hetzelfde punt dan rem je toch op een ander punt om te checken of het probleem is opgelost.. Ergens in mij zegt dat dit een domme fout is van Perez..

    Ik weet niet af er nog iemand gezien, maar toen ze Checo zijn auto uit de grindbak aan het halen waren was er een beeld te zien van de RBR pitmuur en die hadden precies het Ferrari logo op één van hun beeldschermen staan.
