Leclerc vraagt om privacy nadat fans hem op thuisadres lastigvallen

Ferrari-coureur Charles Leclerc beleeft momenteel niet de beste dagen uit zijn loopbaan. De Monegask viel in twee van de eerste drie Grands Prix uit en kende daarnaast ook veel pech. Ook naast de baan gaat het niet helemaal naar wens, hij onthult dat fans hem met enige regelmatig lastigvallen op zijn thuisadres.

Leclerc heeft een onrustige periode achter de rug waarin hij het lastig had in zijn privéleven en ook in de cockpit. In de afgelopen week werd duidelijk dat er meerdere mensen waren opgepakt die Leclerc geruime tijd terug hadden beroofd in Italië. De Italiaanse politie liet tevens beelden zien van het moment. Leclerc reageerde er niet publiekelijk op, maar had wel met andere zaken te maken in zijn privéleven.

Op Instagram liet hij op eerste Paasdag weten dat er regelmatig fans voor zijn deur staan. Hij laat weten dat hij dit niet langer wil hebben: "In de afgelopen maanden is mijn privéadres gelekt waardoor mensen zich verzamelen bij mijn appartement, mensen aanbellen en er veel om handtekeningen wordt gevraagd. Ik sta altijd open voor mijn fans en ik ben er heel erg blij mee, maar respecteer alsjeblieft mijn privacy en kom niet meer naar mijn huis."

    Zo weet een vriend van mij waar Sophie woont,maar echt geen haar op mijn hoofd dat ik denk ik ga daar is voor de oprit staan en kijken of Max eens langs komt.
    Laat ze lekker met rust.
    Zijn ook gewoon mensen zoals u en ik.
    In Beverly Hills hebben filmsterren mega grote hekken om hun huis staan, beveiliging en noem maar op.
    Gelukkig hoeft dat in Europa nog niet,maar laat die mensen als ze privé zijn met rust.

      @Vittorio kan net als @Pietje gewoon zijn vluchtbewegingen volgen om te zien waar Max is. Hij komt sinds hij met Kelly samenwoont nog zelden bij Jos en Sophie thuis. Hij is voor aanvang van het Spa weekend vorig jaar bij Sophie geweest. Toen was Kelly op vakantie in Kroatië oid en is de laatste twee dagen naar Luik gegaan volgens haar IG destijds.

    Gebeurt mij ook regelmatig. Laatst ook weer, stonden er weer een paar van de kerk aan te bellen. Direct een permanente marker gepakt, naar beneden gesprint, een handtekening gegeven en de deur weer dicht gedaan. Alles over mn fans...

    Of zouden ze toch liever een donatie hebben gehad?

    Door de jaren heen heb ik verschillende topsporters middels werk of familie connecties in hun privé tijd ontmoet en het viel iedere keer wat tegen, het waren stuk voor stuk niet de meest leuke mensen, allen wat egocentrisch en gewoon niet zo heel open en aardig.

    Waarschijnlijk moet je ook wel een beetje apart zijn om het te redden tot de absolute top in sport, een normaal mens is het ergens wel een keer zat om duizenden keren hetzelfde te oefenen om de beste van de beste te worden.

    Ik geniet enorm van sport en de verhalen van en rond sport helden, maar ik laat ze graag hun rol vervullen in de sportieve arena en hoef ze niet privé te leren kennen. En waarschijnlijk zitten zij ook niet op over-idolate fans te wachten, ik heb vaak plaatsvervangende schaamte als ik zie hoe sommige fans staan te joelen en roepen naar hun idool. Veel fans gedragen is als halvegaren, ik kan het mij dus ook prima voorstellen dat die topsporters een enorme hekel aan fans krijgen.

    Vandaar dat hij het tijdens de races steeds zo snel voor gezien houdt. Dan zitten de fans langs het circuit en is het thuis lekker rustig. Wel slim van Carlos om het adres te lekken. Vettel gaf cadeautjes aan Roscoe die zoveel lawaai maakten dat Hamilton er s nachts wakker van lag.
