Perez begint raceweek met offroad-ritje

Het team van Red Bull Racing staat bekend om hun stunts en promotievideo's. Coureurs Max Verstappen en Sergio Perez spelen regelmatig de hoofdrol in bijzondere video's op sociale media. Perez mocht deze week deelnemen aan opnames van een nieuwe video, hierbij wisselde hij het asfalt in voor een gravelpad.

Red Bull deelt een kort filmpje op sociale media waarop te zien is dat Perez in een Ford pickup-truck over een gravelpad scheurt. Aangezien Red Bull vanaf 2026 gaat samenwerken met Ford, is de autokeuze niet geheel vreemd. In de korte video is ook te zien dat Perez tijdens zijn tocht wordt gevolgd door een drone. De kans is dus aanwezig dat er binnenkort meer duidelijkheid komt over de reden van het offroad avontuur van Perez.
