Bottas neemt deel aan gravelrace in plaats van GP Emilia-Romagna

Aangezien de Grand Prix van Emilia-Romagna dit weekend is afgelast, moeten de coureurs iets anders vinden om hun tijd door te brengen. Meerdere coureurs kropen achter het stuur van hun simulator, maar Valtteri Bottas maakte een andere keuze. De Finse Alfa Romeo-coureur nam deel aan een ander soort race.

Door de overstromingen in de regio Emilia-Romagna werd de Grand Prix eerder deze week afgelast. De coureurs moesten een andere activiteit zoeken voor het weekend en Valtteri Bottas ging met zijn vriendin mee naar Schotland voor een gravelrace. Bottas had zelf zijn fiets ook meegenomen en reed dus zelf ook 113 kilometer over de Schotse gravelweggetjes. Aankomend weekend zal hij gewoon weer in actie komen tijdens de Grand Prix van Monaco.
