Red Bull vervangt veel onderdelen auto Perez, geen straf

Sergio Perez start de Grand Prix van Monaco vooralsnog gewoon vanaf de laatste startplek. De Mexicaanse Red Bull Racing-coureur crashte gisteren tijdens de kwalificatie en daarbij raakte zijn wagen zwaar beschadigd. Red Bull heeft een groot aantal onderdelen vervangen, zo blijkt uit de documenten van de FIA.

De FIA heeft namelijk een document gedeeld waaruit blijkt welke onderdelen de teams hebben vervangen onder de parc fermé-regels. Aan de auto van Perez is veel vervangen waaronder de energy store en delen van de versnellingsbak, beide onderdelen zijn al eerder gebruikt en leveren hem dan ook geen gridstraf op. Ook onder meer het stuurwiel, de engine cover en delen van de vloer zijn vervangen.
