Leclerc en Russell begonnen aan bandentest in Barcelona

De teams van Ferrari en Mercedes komen vandaag in actie tijdens een speciale bandentest van Pirelli. Beide renstallen zijn achter gebleven in Barcelona om een tweedaagse test af te werken met de nieuwe banden. Vandaag is het de beurt aan Charles Leclerc en George Russell.

De twee coureurs zullen vandaag de hele dag in actie komen om data te verzamelen voor de bandenleverancier. Mercedes en Ferrari mogen deze test afwerken met de huidige auto's. Pirelli zal later in het seizoen nog meer teams selecteren voor dit soort tests. Ferrari en Mercedes delen allebei beelden van de test. Morgen komen Carlos Sainz en Mick Schumacher in actie voor de tweede dag van de test.

Beide schijnen weinig grip te hebben op die nieuwe banden bij de eerste meters 😉

Qua timing voor alle teams is het ideaal gekozen door Pirelli wat eerder doet vermoeden dat dit meer in samenspraak was met de teams dan wel loterij: RB dichter bij het '24 seizoen om dat voor te bereiden. AM ko... [Lees verder]
