Leclerc eert Gilles Villeneuve met speciaal helmdesign

De Canadese Grand Prix wordt dit weekend verreden op het Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. De baan is een favoriet van veel coureurs en dat betekent dat er ook weer veel bijzondere helmdesigns zijn. Charles Leclerc eert dit weekend de naamgever van het circuit.

Gilles Villeneuve boekte in zijn loopbaan veel successen in dienst van het team van Ferrari. Huidig Ferrari-coureur Leclerc heeft voor dit weekend dus voor een passend eerbetoon gekozen. Leclerc heeft het zwartrode design van Villeneuve bijna een-op-een gekopieerd. Hij is dit weekend dus goed te herkennen en het opvallende design zal waarschijnlijk goed in de smaak vallen bij het lokale publiek.
