Daniel Ricciardo is dit weekend weer aanwezig op het circuit. De Australische Red Bull Racing-reserve zat tijdens de vrije trainingen op de vrijdag op de pitmuur en vermaakte zich daar uitstekend. Hij kon het weer niet laten om eventjes te dollen met George Russell.

Russell stond te wachten totdat hij de pitlane uit mocht rijden en Ricciardo besloot een geintje uit te halen. De glimlachende Red Bull-reserve stak al grappend zijn vinger op naar Russell. De Britse Mercedes-coureur gaf na afloop aan dat hij een ruige Australiër had gezien in de pitlane.
