Domenicali reageert op overlijden Van 't Hoff: "We zijn geraakt door het nieuws"

Het overlijden van FRECA-coureur Dilano van 't Hoff zorgt voor veel verdriet in de internationale autosportwereld. De Nederlandse coureur overleed vandaag aan de gevolgen van een crash op het circuit van Spa-Francorchamps. Formule 1-CEO Stefano Domenicali reageert namens de Formule 1-wereld.

Vlak na afloop van de Sprint Shootout in Oostenrijk kwam naar buiten dat Van 't Hoff was overleden. Al snel volgde de reacties vanuit de racewereld. In een persbericht reageerde Domenicali op het nieuws: "We zijn geraakt door het nieuws van het overlijden van Dilano van 't Hoff. Dilano overleed terwijl hij zijn droom najoeg om de koningsklasse van de autosport te bereiken. Samen met de gehele autosportgemeenschap zijn onze gedachten bij zijn familie en dierbaren.

“We are so sad to learn of the passing of Dilano van 't Hoff today at Spa-Francorchamps.

Dilano died in pursuit of his dream to reach the pinnacle of motorsport.

Along with the entire motorsport community, our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”
