Pérez en Red Bull verzorgen uitgebreide showrun in Madrid, neonverlichting maakt comeback

Het Formule 1-team van Red Bull did it again. Eerder deze maand trakteerde ambassadeur en voormalig F1-coureur David Coulthard de fans in Portugal op een demorun, ditmaal was het de beurt aan Sergio Pérez. De Mexicaan mocht naar Madrid afreizen om de duizenden toeschouwers vanuit een Red Bull-openwielbolide met neonverlichting te entertainen.

Het gros van de Formule 1-coureurs zal naast een tussenstop naar huis of langs de fabriek deze week richting de Hungaroring afreizen, maar Sergio Pérez vormt daar een uitzondering op. De teamgenoot van Max Verstappen was namelijk de aangewezen man om ook nog kortstondig naar Madrid af te reizen, want zijn team had opnieuw een showrun op de planning staan.

Pérez mocht een Red Bull F1-wagen door de straten van de Spaanse hoofdstad bewegen, en draaide, zoals verwacht, ook flink wat donuts op het asfalt. De Red Bull-auto viel extra veel op, want de formulewagen was voorzien van neonverlichting aan de onderkant, wat een extra laag aan entertainment creëerde.
