Ricciardo onthult helm voor F1-comeback bij AlphaTauri

The Honey Badger is back. Daniel Ricciardo maakt dit weekend zijn officiële comeback in de koningsklasse door, en daar hoort natuurlijk een gelikte racehelm bij. Niet geheel verrassend kiest de Australiër voor een typerend design waarbij zijn bijnaam op de achterkant van de helm pronkt.

Ricciardo heeft voor een bijzonder kleurenschema gekozen. Een grijnzende Ricciardo deelt via social media hoe zijn nieuwe helm eruit komt te zien. De achtvoudig Grand Prix-winnaar gaat een helm gebruiken die in een bruin/goud-witte kleurencombinatie gehuld is. Een pontificale "yes" staat er op de voorkant van zijn helm, terwijl op de achterkant een plaatje van een Honey Badger te zien is, wat de bijnaam van Ricciardo is. En om zijn terugkomst naar de koningsklasse helemáál compleet te maken, staat er “I’m back” op zijn helm.
