Ontspannen Verstappen maakt zich niet druk om weersvoorspelling Zandvoort

Aankomend weekend gaat het Formule 1-seizoen weer verder met de Nederlandse Grand Prix. Op het circuit van Zandvoort zijn alle ogen gericht op thuisrijder en wereldkampioenschapsleider Max Verstappen. Verstappen zelf houdt het hoofd koel en hij kijkt dan ook reikhalzend uit naar zijn thuisrace.

Verstappen kende een zeer sterke eerste seizoenshelft waarin hij slechts twee Grands Prix niet wist te winnen. De Nederlander werd in Saoedi-Arabië en Azerbeidzjan verslagen door zijn Red Bull Racing-teamgenoot. Sinds de Grand Prix van Miami heeft Verstappen echter niet meer verloren en hij geldt dan ook als de topfavoriet voor de zege op het circuit van Zandvoort. De tribunes in de Noord-Hollandse duinen zullen vol zitten met Verstappen-fans, maar de hoofdrolspeler maakt zich niet druk.

Ontspannen

Verstappen heeft genoten van zijn vakantie, maar hij kan niet wachten om weer aan de slag te gaan. De Nederlander is enthousiast en spreekt zich uit in zijn vooruitblik op Verstappen.com: "De zomerstop was echt lekker, ik heb flink wat tijd gehad om te ontspannen met mijn vrienden. Ik heb er zin in om nu aan de slag te gaan met de tweede helft van het seizoen en er is geen betere manier om dan in Nederland te beginnen."

Geweldig circuit

Verstappen blijft verder zeer rustig onder de grote druk. De Nederlander kijkt ernaar uit en deelt dan ook alvast wat complimentjes uit aan zijn fans en het circuit: "Het is een prachtig circuit en natuurlijk zijn de fans daar geweldig, dus ik heb zeker zin om weer de baan op te gaan. Het lijkt erop dat het weer een rol kan gaan spelen, maar dat maakt mij niet uit. Nat of droog, we zullen ons best doen om het maximale aantal punten te scoren."

Perez was gisteren in Milton Keynes en Max vliegt er nu naar toe voor de sim.
Ben benieuwd of zijn vriendin en schoonmoeder eindelijk eens een keer meegaan
naar een GP weekend nu Sylvia al een aantal dagen in Monaco is bij Max.
Hoogstwaarschijnlijk is Max zijn familie wel aanwezig, iig zondag.
Heb de trofeeën ook gezien. Mag hopen dat het niet de echte waren.
