Hülkenberg niet bestraft voor blokkeren Verstappen

Nico Hülkenberg en Max Verstappen moesten zich na afloop van de tweede vrije training melden bij de stewards. Hülkenberg zou namelijk Verstappen hebben geblokkeerd tijdens de training. De coureurs en hun teams moesten zich melden, maar de stewards besloten geen straf uit te delen aan Hülkenberg.

Hülkenberg bevond zich in het midden van de baan toen hij in zijn spiegels de snelle Verstappen zag aankomen. De Duitser kon echter niet aan de kant en Verstappen kon nog maar net een zwaar ongeval voorkomen. De stewards hebben besloten dat Hülkenberg geen straf krijgt. De Duitser werd volgens de stewards gehinderd door andere auto's waardoor hij nergens heen kon.
