Haas vervangt vrijwel complete Power Unit en versnellingsbak Magnussen

Kevin Magnussen kwalificeerde zich gisteren als achttiende voor de Nederlandse Grand Prix, maar hij zal de race niet op deze positie gaan starten. De Deense Haas-coureur krijgt namelijk de beschikking over een grote hoeveelheid nieuwe motorcomponenten en nieuwe delen van zijn versnellingsbak.

Uit de documenten van Haas blijkt namelijk dat Haas een groot aantal nieuwe onderdelen in de auto heeft geplaatst. Magnussen krijgt de beschikking over een nieuwe ICE, nieuwe turbocharger, MGU-H, een nieuwe energy store, een nieuw exhaust system en een vrijwel volledig nieuwe versnellingsbak. Deze aanpassingen zijn allemaal onder parc ferme-regels uitgevoerd en dat betekent dus dat Magnussen de race vanuit de pitlane gaat starten.
