Verstappen onthult nieuw helmdesign

Max Verstappen heeft in Monza zijn nieuwe helmontwerp aan de wereld getoond. De Nederlandse Red Bull Racing-coureur zal gaan rijden met een helm met een retrolook. De helm toont veel gelijkenissen met de helm waarmee zijn vader Jos vroeger in de Formule 1 heeft gereden. De leeuw op de bovenzijde mag vanzelfsprekend niet ontbreken.

Verstappen zal vanaf dit weekend gaan rijden met het nieuwe helmdesign. Hij geeft aan dat er maanden aan is gewerkt en dat de bekende V-lijnen in dit ontwerp zijn aangepast. Voor Verstappen is dit een belangrijk gegeven omdat het doet denken aan de helmen van zijn vader Jos en aan de designs waarmee Verstappen zelf in de karts rondreed. Nu is het ontwerp weer terug en zal hij in ieder geval het seizoen ermee gaan afmaken.

    Ontzettend druk. Alles qua elementen valt op deze manier weg. En aangezien de elementen niet in het verlengde van elkaar liggen is het gewoon een brij van details. Leuk voor de fans om er nader naar te kijken, verder gewoon inwisselbare brol.

      Helemaal mee eens.lelijk,en dat zijn alle helmen tegenwoordig,oke ik vond er 1 mooi,die oranje op spa een paar jaar geleden,die was simpel.

      Smaak valt niet over te twisten natuurlijk. Maar er zijn ook helmen dit ik niet perse mooi vind maar wel doen wat ze moeten doen volgens de ontwerper en dat het geheel gewoon klopt. Ocon en Hulkenberg bijv. Zijn simpele voorbeelden, maar die van Gasly en Hamilton zijn ook druk, maar het komt wel bij elkaar. Mijn favoriet is die van Sainz overigens.

      Dat laatste dacht ik ook @Starscreamer, deze helm is terug naar de basis van de Verstappens, een classic!
      Dus deze tot einde loopbaan aanhouden en geen marketinggeneuzel voor de centen meer...
