Coulthard vervangt Ricciardo tijdens Red Bull-demo op Nordschleife

Daniel Ricciardo raakte vorige week in Zandvoort geblesseerd tijdens de tweede vrije training. De Australiër brak zijn middenhandsbeentje en kan voorlopig niet in actie komen. Hij mist niet alleen de komende Grand Prix-weekenden, maar ook de bijzondere demorun op de Nürburgring Nordschleife. Red Bull heeft nu een vervanger gevonden.

Red Bull organiseert aan de vooravond van de 12 uur van de Nürburgring een bijzondere demonstratie op de wereldberoemde Nordschleife. Het was de bedoeling dat Ricciardo in het weekend van 9 en 10 september in actie zou komen in een Red Bull-bolide, maar door zijn blessure is dit niet mogelijk. Red Bull heeft nu David Coulthard opgetrommeld als vervanger. Verder komen Sebastian Vettel en Yuki Tsunoda in actie tijdens het weekend.
