Sauber teleurgesteld met schamel puntje in Singapore

Het team van Sauber finishte in Singapore na drie puntloze Grands Prix weer eens in de punten. Sergio Perez bezorgde de Zwitserse renstal een puntje met een tiende plek. Toch overheerst bij Sauber de teleurstelling.

Hoofdengineer Giampaolo Dall'Ara: Ik kan niet doen alsof we tevreden zijn met dit resultaat. We hadden er meer van verwacht. De safety car kwam voor ons op een ongunstig moment op de baan. Gezien de omstandigheden was de tiende plek met Sergio Perez misschien het hoogst haalbare.

Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat Kamui Kobayashi tijdens de neutralisatie voor een pitstop naar binnen halen een fout was, maar het heeft weinig uitgemaakt voor het resultaat. Qua snelheid zijn we beter dan we nu hebben laten zien, we kwamen alleen niet door het verkeer heen.
