Krack ziet geen problemen bij Stroll: "Je moet er niet teveel over oordelen"

Lance Stroll is bezig met een lastig raceweekend in Qatar. Hij kan zijn teamgenoot Fernando Alonso niet bijhouden en op vrijdag leek hij zijn trainer een duw te geven na afloop van de kwalificatie. Stroll bood eerder al zijn excuses aan en volgens zijn teambaas Mike Krack was er niets aan de hand.

Stroll reageerde enorm gefrustreerd toen hij al in Q1 afviel in de kwalificatie op vrijdag. De Canadese Aston Martin-coureur werd er door zijn trainer op gewezen dat hij de pitbox via de voorzijde moest verlaten. Stroll reageerde woest en gaf zijn trainer een duw. De Canadees gaf zelf aan dat hij het moment al heeft besproken met zijn trainer en dat alles weer koek en ei is tussen hen. Teambaas Mike Krack had nog niet gereageerd omdat hij de beelden nog niet kan gezien.

Inmiddels heeft Krack de beelden van de duw van Stroll wel bekeken. De teambaas geeft aan dat Stroll sorry heeft gezegd, in gesprek met de Duitse tak van Sky Sports spreekt Krack zich uit: "Ik heb het nu ook gezien en het is makkelijk om iemand direct te veroordelen. Ik probeer meestal niet te praten na een sessie omdat ik weet hoe opgewonden je kunt raken. Je ziet voetballers soms met een shirt of een bidon gooien. Ik denk dat de sport gedijt bij dat soort emoties en je moet er niet te veel over oordelen.

Volgens mij zitten zowel Lance als Mike al een tijdje zwaar aan de krack, die 2 zijn al een tijdje flink van het padje!

Ik ben het wel eens met Krack, het is iets wat gebeurd uit teleurstelling en emotie. Echter de oorzaak bij bij Stroll is gebrek aan talent.
