Ricciardo maakt meters tijdens showrun in Nashville

Voor het eerst sinds 25 augustus heeft Daniel Ricciardo weer meters gemaakt in een Formule 1-wagen. De Australiër keert aankomend weekend terug op de grid, maar afgelopen weekend zat hij alweer achter het stuur. In de Amerikaanse stad Nashville kwam hij namelijk in actie tijdens een showrun voor Red Bull Racing.

Bijna twee maanden nadat hij zijn middenhandsbeentje brak tijdens de tweede vrije training in Zandvoort, mocht Ricciardo weer rijden in een Formule 1-wagen. Hij lijkt nu weer volledig de oude te zijn, met een grote glimlach verzorgde hij de showrun in de Red Bull RB7 in Nashville in de staat Tennessee. Ricciardo leek weer volledig fit te zijn, aankomend weekend neemt hij weer plaats achter het stuur van de AlphaTauri-bolide in Austin. In Nashville kon hij dus alvast warmdraaien.
