Verstappen begint Mexicaans raceweekend in TV Pen

Vandaag gaat het Mexicaanse Grand Prix-weekend officieel van start. Het raceweekend wordt afgetrapt met de gebruikelijke persconferenties op de traditionele mediadag. Max Verstappen hoeft zich vandaag niet in de perszaal te melden, hij is door de FIA ingedeeld in de zogenaamde TV Pen.

Dit seizoen worden de coureurs in groepjes van vijf naar of de perszaal of de TV Pen gestuurd. Hierdoor krijgen ze allemaal de kans om zich uit te spreken voordat de sessies van start gaan. Om 13:30 wordt de persconferentie afgetrapt door Yuki Tsunoda, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Nico Hülkenberg en Alexander Albon. Op datzelfde moment is Max Verstappen samen met Daniel Ricciardo, Lance Stroll, Kevin Magnussen en Lando Norris aanwezig in de TV Pen.

Om 14:05 melden de tweede groepen zich in de perszaal en in de TV Pen. Thuisrijder Sergio Perez moet zich op dat moment bij de persconferentie melden in gezelschap van Guanyu Zhou, Fernando Alonso, Oscar Piastri en George Russell. In de TV Pen spreken Valtteri Bottas, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton en Logan Sargeant zich uit. Op vrijdag is het eerst de beurt aan teamvertegenwoordigers Xevi Pujolar, Ayao Komatsu en Dave Robson. Daarna is het de beurt aan teambazen Franz Tost, Bruno Famin en Christian Horner.
