Alonso geeft voorkeur aan zege boven positie van vice-kampioen

Dat zou ik ook willen maar lijkt onmogelijk... 4 auto\'s die sneller zijn dan hem dat is een beetje te veel van het goede...Die 4 moeten allemaal een mindere dag hebben..meestal Webber of 1 van de Mclaren\'s voorblijven lukt wel maar alle 4 is moeilijk tenzij ze allemaal crashen :)

Ik denk dat het heeeeeeeeeel misschien in Korea mogelijk is. Je kan er alleen inhalen op het rechte stuk en als het regent is alles mogelijk.........

Maar ik denk het niet. Al hoop ik het wel.

Suzuka haalt iig het beste naar boven in Alonso! Vorig jaar toch keurig derde, 2006 heeft hij er gewonnen, en in 2005 hadden we die geweldige opmars van Kimi van P17 of P16 naar P1, maar Fernando stond toen gezellig naast hem bij de start en ook op het podium! Hij moest op een zeker moment van de wedstrijdleiding een paar plekken inleveren omdat hij Klien illegaal zou hebben ingehaald, anders was het verschil kleiner geweest dan 17 seconden.

Idd, Suzuka 2005 was de mooiste race die ik ook gezien heb

Man dat was een race zeg, Kimi was echt van een andere planeet, maar de FIA liet Alonso volgens mij 3 keer stuivertje wisselen met Klien, dat was echt een raar moment.

Maar jullie vergeten natuurlijk hèt moment van de race (voor mij althans)Alonso buiten om bij Schumacher in de 130R met 300 kmh, een van de historische inhaalmanouvres in F1.

Die was geniaal! Veel beter dan die cheape move van Webber op Alonso in Eau Rouge! Ik was daarbij en ik wist zeker dat ze er samen af zouden gaan, maar Fernando was heel verstandig en koelbloedig en toont maar aan dat hij ook tijdens de race oog heeft voor the big picture. Maar over Suzuka \'05; een Ferrari die wederom het lijdend voorwerp van een legendarische overtakes het lijdend voorwerp is, en Fisi buitenom in de laatste ronde, het verbaast me eerlijk gezegd dat je hebt genoten van die race ;)

Fisichella zal inmiddels wel nachtmerries hebben van Kimi btw :P

\"El Matador\" is trouwens zijn meest toepasselijke bijnaam ooit met die stink-RedBulls die de hele tijd vooraan staan :P

Fisico had die zege wel verdiend daar, maar ja, volgens mij verspeelde hij een 20 a 25 sec. voorsprong, werd aan het eind nog geblokt door een Minardi, en Kimi was toen simpelweg niet te stoppen, maar daar denkt Fisico nog wel eens aan denk ik.

Ik heb zeker van die race genoten, ondanks dat Fisico een van mijn favoriete coureurs is, en Alonso dat spreekt voor zich.

Ik was nooit zo\'n Schumacher fan, heb wel respect voor zijn prestaties en werk wat hij bij Ferrari heeft verzet, maar Alonso liet toendertijd echt fantastisch racen zien, sinds Minardi was ik al fan van hem, vandaar dat ik echt op het puntje van mijn stoel zat bij die aktie.

Kimi naar Ferrari vond ik al top, maar toen Alonso kwam, was ik gelukkig van mijn tweeledige gedachte verlost ;)

Nu nog een kampioenschap met Ferrari en ik ben een gelukkig mens! :P

En het gaat gebeuren, ben ik van overtuigd.

Kan volledig instemmen.Ik ben gewoon weg van het \"vakmanschap\" van Alonso en dat ben ik ook van Kubica.Dit zijn sinds jaren mijn favo\'s. In Franchorchamps heb ik de power van de Red Bulls gevoeld, daar kon ik niet naast kijken(voelen , ik ben een vrouw). Moest ik het in tekenfilm plaatsen dan zag je Red Bull voortvliegen met Vettel aan het stuur hangend om mee te kunnen met de wagen en Alonso voor zijn wagen uit vliegend verbeten trekkend om hem met hem mee te doen vliegen. Webber heeft telkens kauwgom aan de banden plakken als hij moet vertrekken .Button doet het goed ,evenwicht tussen piloot en wagen en Hamilton ?... geen kommentaar .Hoop ook dat Fernando zijn vastheid en zijn inspanningen dit seizoen nog beloond mag zien, dit zou hem goed doen en mij en jou ook me dunkt zeer gelukkig maken !...

Over Alonso in 2010

Fernando Alonso had a season that extracted the full measure of what F1 demands in these times. On one hand, he is a genuinely nice guy, while in the cockpit he’s ruthless and implacable, wholly at ease with F1’s culture of aggression. Beat your teammate! Push, push, push! Block anyone trying to pass you!
To get Alonso, Ferrari bought out Kimi Räikkönen’s contract and agreed to make him their number one—a back-room deal that instantly marginalized the supremely talented Felipe Massa, who was making an emotional return after a life-threatening crash in 2009. Alonso led Massa home in the season opener, but as the other teams found their stride, the new F10 fell behind. By the time the team was competitive again, midsummer had come and Red Bull had five wins, McLaren four. I factor into these standings how a driver responds to adversity—a Degree of Difficulty rating—and Alonso proved his toughness during this frustrating period. Alonso clawed and scratched his way to every point. Always on the limit, he made mistakes—a massive qualifying crash at Monaco, a jumped start in China—but he kept the team’s morale up with his self-confidence. Massa was almost equal in speed, but Alonso’s mental toughness—typified by his dangerous, brazen pass of Massa down China’s single-lane pit entry road—confirmed his number one status.
Hockenheim was the anniversary of Massa’s accident—and the revamped F10 was ready. Like the car, Massa was fully recovered and took the lead, heading to a storybook ending—until Ferrari, acting on another of Alonso’s back-room deals, ordered him to let Alonso pass. The rules forbid team tactics, but Massa, dazed, complied. Alonso was a distant 5th in the standings, 47 points back, and many wondered if eight points—the difference between 1st and 2nd in the expanded scoring system—was worth the bad publicity. But Alonso had felt the Ferrari come right, and sensed before anyone else that he had a chance at the championship. He regarded the win, and the points that went with it, as rightfully his. Like Michael Schumacher, he sees his success as fulfilling a moral imperative—what’s right for Alonso is right for Ferrari, and by extension, right for the sport. Not surprisingly, Massa was devastated. After Hockenheim his season collapsed. He swallowed his pride and re-signed for 2011, despite knowing that he was offered the ride not because he’s fast but because he’s not as fast as Alonso.
Tainted or not, the Hockenheim points—which cost Ferrari only a wrist-slap of $100,000—propelled the Spaniard into contention. His victory at Monza, in front of Ferrari’s idolatrous fans, was the emotional high point of the team’s year—and a reminder of just how fast Alonso can be. Two weeks later he won in Singapore, holding off Sebastian Vettel in the nimbler Red Bull RB6. His win in South Korea was his fourth in eight races, thrusting him into the championship lead. A cautious 3rd in Brazil, he arrived in Abu Dhabi with a comfortable lead over Mark Webber.
In an unlikely scenario made possible by multiple contenders, Alonso keyed off Webber, Webber had a bad day, and Vettel leapt from 3rd place in the standings to steal the championship. The Ferrari brain trust had two Red Bulls to watch for and picked the wrong one. Abu Dhabi was a nasty shock, but Ferrari found its first real leader since Schumacher, and historically the Scuderia is at its best with a strongman in the cockpit. Winners don’t lose, the saying goes, they just run out of time…and Alonso, slumped on the garage floor, was a man who would have done anything for another chance.
