Leclerc waarschuwt Ferrari: "Red Bull is van een andere planeet"

Het team van Ferrari kende dit jaar een goed slotstuk van het seizoen. Ze konden Red Bull Racing aardig bijhouden, maar het was lastig om de Oostenrijkse renstal echt te verslaan. Charles Leclerc geeft zijn team dan ook een duidelijke opdracht mee door te stellen dat Red Bull van een andere planeet is.

Ferrari toonde zich in de slotfase van het seizoen als een uitdager van Red Bull. Carlos Sainz profiteerde in Singapore van de mindere vorm van Red Bull. Hij schreef de race op zijn naam en hij was daarmee de enige die de Red Bulls wist te verslaan in 2023. Charles Leclerc probeerde het kunststukje van zijn teamgenoot te herhalen, maar verder dan een handvol pole positions kwam hij niet.

Ferrari werd uiteindelijk derde in het constructeurskampioenschap omdat ze net iets minder punten pakten dan Mercedes. Leclerc wil volgend jaar Red Bull verslaan en bij Viaplay deelt hij een boodschap voor zijn team: "We werden gedurende het seizoen beter. Dat geeft mij zeker hoop voor volgend jaar. Het is altijd mooi om het seizoen te eindigen op een opwaartse trend. De updates na Japan gaven mij zelf vertrouwen. Het verhoogde onze pace en dat is belangrijk. We hebben wel nog een grote stap te zetten, want Red Bull is van een andere planeet."

  Nietus Larry, Adrian is maar een gemiddelde ontwerper! Die Red-Bull is in de basis maar een gemiddelde auto, alleen in de handen van Max is dat ding mega snel.

Red Bull in zijn geheel, als team, is van een andere planeet, zeker in vergelijking met Ferrari. Zelfs al maakt Ferrari een auto waarmee Leclerc of Sainz net zo goed kunnen presteren als Verstappen, dan nog zullen ze het over het hele seizoen afleggen tegen Red Bull. Puur op zaken als strategie en pitstops.
