McLaren direct de baan op met nieuwe MCL38

Het team van McLaren trok vandaag het doek van hun nieuwe MCL38. De Britse renstal hield het bij een bescheiden presentatie door middel van een korte video. Terwijl deze video online werd gezet, was het team zelf aanwezig op het circuit van Silverstone. Lando Norris nam daar alvast plaats in de nieuwe wagen.

McLaren voerde vandaag namelijk een shakedown uit op het Britse asfalt. Ook Mercedes was aanwezig op het circuit voor een filmdag, maar ze bleven zover mogelijk uit de buurt van elkaar. McLaren deelt nu een aantal korte video's van de shakedown, ze proberen zo min mogelijk van de auto aan de rest van de wereld te laten zien. Norris mocht als eerste plaatsnemen achter het stuur, Oscar Piastri was ook aanwezig maar het is niet duidelijk of hij ook meters heeft gemaakt.
