De eerste ochtend van de laatste voorbereidingstest is reeds afgesloten en Jenson Button heeft voorlopig de beste tijd in handen. Zijn 1:23.510 is nog wel ruim een seconde langzamer dan de beste tijden van vorige week in Barcelona.

Sergio Perez bezet de tweede positie. De Mexicaan van Sauber stopte vlak voor de lunchpauze in bocht 6 en heeft de enige rode vlag-situatie op zijn geweten. Verder is er flink doorgereden, met de helft van de teams al boven de vijftig ronden.
