Grosjean geniet zonder opluchting na van eerste punten

Lotus-coureur Romain Grosjean zag in China voor het eerst dit jaar het zwart-wit geblokt, na twee vroege uitvalbeurten in Australië en Maleisië. De Fransman bekroonde zijn eerste finish van 2012 met zijn eerste punten in de Formule 1, acht in totaal.

Maar om nou te zeggen dat een last van zijn schouders is gevallen, dat gaat Grosjean veel te ver. "Nee, ik voel me niet opgelucht. Dit is gewoon het resultaat van hard werken. Het heeft geen nut om terneergeslagen te raken na twee races waarin het niet lukte. We weten allemaal dat de autosport gepaard gaat met hoogte- en dieptepunten. China was een hoogtepunt, het voelde geweldig om te knokken met Red Bull Racing, Ferrari en McLaren", aldus de Lotus-coureur tegenover RMC Sport.
