Alonso zegt deelname aan kartevenement van Felipe Massa toe

Ferrari-coureur Fernando Alonso is op 12 en 13 januari 2013 van de partij bij de Challenge of the Stars, de kartwedstrijd die zijn teamgenoot Felipe Massa organiseert. De Spanjaard zal voor het eerst bij het evenement in de Braziliaanse stad Florianopolis aan de start verschijnen.

Alle opbrengsten van de Challenge of the Stars gaan naar het goede doel. Naast Alonso hoopt Massa ook in elk geval de stoppende Mercedes-coureur Michael Schumacher en MotoGP-rijder Valentino te strikken. Pirelli-tester Jaime Alguarsuari schreef de vorige editie op zijn naam.
