Ferrari: "Massa voor elk team een waardevolle aanwinst"

Het team van Ferrari neemt na dit seizoen afscheid van Felipe Massa. De Scuderia probeert dat echter chique af te handelen. Geen verwijten, geen boze woorden, maar alle waardering voor de Braziliaan. Ferrari zet hem zelfs in de etalage.

Ontwerper Simone Resta schetst via Autosport een positief beeld van Massa: "In mijn ogen is hij voor elk team een waardevolle aanwinst. Hij is zeer ervaren. Felipe racet al sinds 2007 voor ons op het hoogste niveau, dus hij heeft het nodige meegemaakt en veel te bieden."

"Massa is een geweldige teamspeler. Hij spant zich meer dan gemiddeld in voor je team, via de simulator of via het ontwikkelen en testen van nieuwe onderdelen. En als het team aan hem vraagt om zijn teamgenoot te ondersteunen, om wat voor reden dan ook, dan geeft hij daar gehoor aan."
