Marcus Armstrong was een klasse apart in Spielberg. De Nieuw-Zeelander verzilverde de poleposition en reed alle rondes aan de leiding en behaalde op deze overtuigende manier zijn tweede overwinning van het seizoen. Thèo Pourchaire veroverde de tweede trede van het podium vlak voor Jack Doohan.

De consistentie van kampioenschapsleider Felipe Drugovich ging door met de vierde plaats, terwijl Jüri Vips klom van de negende naar de vijfde positie. Richard Verschoor deed er alles aan om een snelle Logan Sargeant op afstand te houden voor de zesde plaats en slaagde in zijn missie. Ayumu Iwasa rondde de puntenscorers af als achtste.

Er is geen verandering in de top vier van het rijderskampioenschap. Drugovich behoudt de eerste plaats met 154 punten. Thèo Pourchaire heeft het gat iets kleiner gemaakt tot 40 punten. Door de overwinning springt Armstrong naar de vijfde plaats met 69 punten.
