Richard Verschoor trekt naar Van Amersfoort Racing

Richard Verschoor blijft ook in 2023 actief in de Formule 2. De Nederlandse coureur reed afgelopen seizoen voor het team van Trident in de hoogste opstapklasse van het Formule 1-voorprogramma. Aankomend seizoen rijdt Verschoor wederom in de Formule 2 maar dit keer voor het team van zijn landgenoten van Van Amersfoort Racing.

Verschoor debuteerde in 2021 in de Formule 2 en noteerde in de afgelopen twee seizoenen zeker geen slechte resultaten. De jonge coureur uit Benschop geldt als één van de grootste Nederlandse talenten van het moment en hij heeft een flinke staat van dienst met veel titels en zeges in opstapklassen.

De Nederlandse coureur is vandaag 22 jaar geworden en men vond het dan ook een goed idee om zijn komst vandaag bekend te maken. Verschoor reed vorige maand al de post season test van de Formule 2 in Abu Dhabi voor Van Amersfoort Racing. Het wordt dus zijn derde jaar in de Formule 2.
