Hankook tot en met 2019 bandenpartner F3

Bandenfirma Hankook heeft het aflopende contract met het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 met drie jaar verlengd. De nieuwe verbintenis loopt tot het einde van 2019. Hankook is al sinds 2012 verbonden aan het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap.

Walter Mertes, directeur van promotor Formel-3-Vermarktungs-GmbH: "Deze vroege verlenging van onze overeenkomst met Hankook voor nog eens drie jaar toont aan dat beide partijen elkaar blindelings vertrouwen. Met Hankook beschikken we over een professionele en sterke partner."

Manfred Sandbichler, directeur van Hankook Europa: "Sinds we als bandenpartner van het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 actief zijn, zijn er al veel talentvolle jonge coureurs langsgekomen, zoals bijvoorbeeld Max Verstappen. Het is altijd leuk om de groei van die talenten te volgen."
