F3-coureur Zane Maloney zal niet graag terug blikken naar afgelopen weekend in Imola. De Barbadiaanse rijder spinde zeer knullig achter de Safety Car op het moment dat hij wilde aanzetten om de wedstrijd te hervatten. De Trident-coureur gooide niet alleen de overwinning weg, maar tot overmaat van ramp bleef zijn bolide ook vastzitten in het gras en moest noodgedwongen uitstappen.

Dat het de beste kan overkomen tijdens een neutralisatie, bewees wereldkampioen Max Verstappen in 2021. Op hetzelfde circuit, op bijna dezelfde plek en in soortgelijke omstandigheden verloor de Nederlander de controle in leidende positie. Echter, Verstappen kon nog net op tijd zijn RB16B in het juiste spoor krijgen.
