Ben Hingeley voegt zich voor 2018 bij Hitech GP

Ben Hingeley maakt voor komend seizoen de overstap naar het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De 20-jarige coureur uit Wales sluit zich aan bij het team van Hitech GP. Vorig jaar racete hij in het Brits Formule 3-kampioenschap waarin hij vier zeges boekte en als derde eindigde.

Hingeley: "Ik ben opgewonden dat ik in 2018 namens Hitech GP in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 mag racen. Het is een buitengewoon professioneel team in de manier waarop ze werken en ik ben dolblij dat ik komend seizoen met ze aan de slag mag gaan."

Bij Hitech GP komt Hingeley een bekende tegen. Het team legde eerder namelijk Enaam Ahmed, die in 2017 de titel won in het Brits Formule 3-kampioenschap, al vast. Ook Alex Palou behoort tot de line-up van Hitech GP voor het komende seizoen in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3.
