Mücke houdt vast aan Rosenqvist en contracteert Wehrlein

Felix Rosenqvist zal ook dit seizoen voor Mücke Motorsport in de Formule 3 Euroseries racen. De winnaar van de Masters in Zandvoort debuteerde vorig jaar in de Euroseries en won naast de Masters nog een race.

Teambaas Peter Mücke maakte ook al zijn teamgenoot voor 2012 bekend: de ADAC Formel Master-kampioen Pascal Wehrlein. "We willen met Felix een belangrijke factor worden in de strijd om de titel en voor Pascal is een overstap naar de Euroseries een logisch vervolg in zijn carriére", aldus Mücke.

Het team hoopt eind januari de derde coureur te kunnen contracteren. In 2011 reed Nigel Melker nog voor Mücke in de Euroseries, maar hij stapt dit seizoen over naar de GP2 Series.
