e.dams Renault benoemt Buemi en Prost als rijdersduo

Het Franse team e.dams heeft de line-up voor het eerste seizoen van de Formule E bekend gemaakt. Sebastien Buemi en Nicolas Prost zullen de eer van de renstal verdedigen. Dat was niet het enige, e.dams onthulde ook nog eens Renault als titelsponsor van het team.

Buemi is momenteel test- en reserverijder bij Red Bull Racing. De Zwitser is daarnaast namens Toyota actief in het World Endurance Championship. Nicolas Prost is de zoon van viervoudig wereldkampioen Formule 1 Alain Prost en is als testcoureur verbonden aan Lotus F1 Team.

Niet geheel toevallig rijden Red Bull Racing en Lotus met motoren van Renault. De Franse autofabrikant is de nieuwe titelsponsor van e.dams in de Formule E. De naam van Renault komt ook veelvuldig terug in de geel-blauwe livery.
